I just read an artice in the Sun City Independant regarding the shooting of this film and how the rec centers are all up in arms about you using thier facilities. OH MY I am a very young and very active dare I say senior citizen who happens to reside in Sun City with my elderly Mom. This is the land of Viva Viagra and not to many years ago this enchanting little community became know as "SIN CITY". There was rumors and much truth to the rumors of naked men and woman in bushes who were sneaking past their neighbors watchful eyes as they prowled for the action....Cougars of today know nothing of the Lioness in Sun City. I wait with baited breath for your movie I can't wait to see what dark comendy you have cooked up. Oh and for the record I am a health care worker who knows for a fact that the incidence of STD in the elderly surpass the youth. I only wish now I had signed up as an extra for your film.
So glad you chose Sun City as the location. Hope you'll also be able to catch one of our spectacular sunsets. Wish they would grant permission to use the recreation centers since they are such an important part of life here.Wish Tim Gallen of RCSC would reconsider. The Sun City Independent reported that he said, "It has been RCSC's policy that any outside company/project that may not be perceived favorably by a majority of Sun City residents has been declined," and that is part of the reason for not allowing you access. How has it been determined that a majority don't view you or your project favorably? What attempts were made to ask them? Everyone I've spoken to thinks this is a great project and I do too. How great is it that during our 50th year "where active retirement originated," we're not just looking backward, but we're part of your project exploring cutting edge perspectives of the phenomenon of multigenerational living?!
